The Cooking Club New Year's Eve Party

DJ T. Max

The San Diego Cooking Club had it's first Annual New Year's Eve Bash and it was a success! We had a lot of fun, a lot of booze and there was a lot of dancing going on. Thanks to Benni and Scott for hosting the event. Also, thanks to the musical sounds of DJ T.Max (a.k.a. Tom Amador) who got the party started.

For food, we had some fabulous appetizers like melted brie in a sourdough bread, Lindsey's famous Moros y Cristianos, spinach and artichoke dip, imitation crab ceviche, vegetarian chili, mini quiches, 7-layer bean dip, Benni's homemade cookies and brownies, Ana's flan and so much more.

For booze, we had a plethora of alcoholic libations: Skyy vodka, tequila (Cazadores, Patron), Tanquerey gin, wine, wine, wine, apple martinis, and probably a case of champagne and two cases of beer! And I'm happy to report that we finished all the tequila due to the high demand for tequila shots!

Thanks to everyone for making this a great party. I think our cooking club will only get better in 2006 and I hope we can continue on having more New Year's Eve parties in the future!
